Well for my very first time camping I was greatly disappointed in camp sherwin, to go by their ad you have access to the beach and lake, the only access I could find was a set of steps that said 'take at your own risk' and a sign that said no swimming. I couldn't tell how many steps there were because the branches were in the way but I did walk over to the edge of the cliff and it was about a 40-50 foot drop to the lake. Both my husband and I have health problems so this was a no no for us. We spent one day before we pulled out, my husband did go to the office to see if he could get a partial refund but he was told the lady who owned the place wouldn't be in till Monday. Today being Monday I called, they don't give refunds...I told her I went there for the beach but there was no easy access, she told me there were steps to the beach, I told her she was falsely advertising a beach access and she said the steps were there to get to the beach. All in all I'm out $330 for 9 days stay so if anyone is checking this place out there is a free space #4 that's paid up till July 31st you're welcome to use it as it's all paid for. I'd give this place a -1 but it isn't there.
Great place if you have kids, the pool is nice. Also has a wet area for kids to run under waterfalls and sprinklers.
