Early stages of this park. Wish there was closer parking to the wood line. Took awhile walking around in the open sun before hitting shade.
The park is still new, so it seems they are still working out some kinks. The trails are long and not shaded. They are also not well marked. It's a walk through some fields. We only went to one of the views, it was too hot to walk in the sun to the next.
A great alternative for hiking compared to Presque isle. Secluded, great views, and trails that go on cliffs by the lake. The best park in Erie county to get out of the consumerist city and commune with nature instead.
An overlooked site on Pennsylvania's Lake Erie shoreline.
To reach the bluffs, you must park at the given address, which is next to a corn field in the summer and fall. You will then follow the trail at the end of parking lot until you reach a small patch of forest that is located right above the bluffs. You can walk down to the rocky shoreline from the bluffs, though it may be slippery if it has been wet.
Very nice , small game hunting the land, good access points but many many ticks. Be careful.
